Dr. Stephanie Tonin graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 1996. She went on to earn a M.S. in Educational Psychology in 2003, and then her Ph.D. from the Counseling Psychology Program at the University of Utah, Educational Psychology Department, in 2006. Stephanie completed her pre- and post-doctoral training at the University of Utah’s Neuropsychiatric Institute (now known as the Huntsman Mental Health Institute) where she provided assessment and therapy services to a range of adolescents, adults, children and their families. Stephanie has been a Licensed Psychologist in Utah since 2007.

Stephanie has trained in a variety of treatment settings ranging from acute, inpatient and day-treatment settings to community mental health, private practice, and a university counseling center. At present, Stephanie’s practice focuses on specialized and comprehensive diagnostic assessment in various settings, including outpatient, residential, and wilderness programs. She completes evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults with a broad area of issues, including learning disorders, social/neurodevelopmental problems, and neuropsychological concerns in addition to broad mental health assessment. In her free time, Stephanie can be found enjoying the Utah deserts and mountains or playing tennis with friends and family.
